odd and their spouse have been fostering kittens for nonprofit animal shelters for over a decade. The spouse is the one who actually knows what they are doing. The one who wakes up every three hours. odd is support staff: litter box scooper, bottle filler, bean kisser.
They specialize in “bottle babies” and other high-need foster kittens. They are typically very young, often newborns, and require around-the-clock care until they are old enough for adoption. It is exhausting, occasionally heartbreaking, and completely worth it.
